The project offers new liturgical furniture for the cathedral of Tournai, as the final phase of its 20 yearlong restoration. Our interest in understanding the historical and symbolic layers of the cathedral were essential to the proposal, offering a specific narrative to each piece. Through meticulous detailing and refined materials (Tournai blue stone, Vigaria marble, polished brass) we wish to extend and unify the rich heritage found at the crossing of the gothic choir and roman nave.
